Stakeholder involvement & the Somerset Rules 11 th October

The seminar will identify the main distinctive features and benefits of the Somerset Rules and describe the differences between CICs, Co-op Societies and Companies. Participants will carry out a stakeholder analysis for a social enterprise, and assess ways in which the stakeholders can support and participate in the enterprise and also assess when a community share issue is an appropriate form of finance.

Community share issues 8th November

The Community share issues seminar will explain which legal forms support community share issues and look at what is meant by a 'balanced return' for investors. Participants will plan a share issue from investment readiness to trading and develop a strategy for attracting and engaging with potential investors.

All seminars 10am – 1pm
